Indications
This product is clinically indicated for:
- Underwrap beneath plaster cast application to protect the skin
- Holding dressings in place
- Protection against skin trauma during orthopaedic procedures
- General orthopaedic and clinical applications
Ensure the stockinette is smooth and wrinkle-free before applying casting materials - folds can cause pressure sores under a cast.
Care Instructions
- Stockinette used under casts is typically replaced with each cast change
- If used as a standalone dressing holder, hand wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent
- Air dry thoroughly before reuse
- Store in a clean dry sealed environment to maintain hygiene

Description
The Adore Stockinette (AD-1437 to AD-1450) is a soft, gentle fabric bandage made from cotton or blended materials, designed to be the first layer applied directly against the skin before casting materials or padding are applied. It protects the skin from abrasion, holds dressings gently in place, and is gentle enough for sensitive or post-operative skin.
Available in a comprehensive range of widths — 3 cm, 6 cm, 7.5 cm, and 15 cm — and lengths from 1 metre to 20 metres, suitable for every orthopaedic and clinical application.
